There may be an interest here. It is not limited to chess

reasonable.

According to the official site there were two underpromotions in the

sense?

Susan Polgar filed her latest lawsuit on November 7, 2008. Although I
have not been served with the summons and complaint, I have found it
posted on the Federal Pacer System, since the case has been removed to
federal court.
Pauline E. Braun27 Aug 2008 14:32 GMT1
I have had enough of paying for Sloan's whores/wives, bastards/brats and
frivilous law suits.
Can some body find who is Pauline E. Braun? She needs to be phoned with
some of the detail about Ismail H. Sloan of which she will not be aware.
Kramnik on Botvinnik27 Aug 2008 14:14 GMT9
I have never heard this anecdote:
I am not like Botvinnik – before his match with Bronstein he made a
list of what results he should make in each game: first game draw,
second game he wins, third game draw, fourth game draw, fifth game he

IMs and GMs that weren't child prodigies?27 Aug 2008 01:27 GMT7

some child chess prodigy starting from the womb (or even as a teenager)?
And just to be clear, is the title of IM the same as saying "Master"?

H. Mueller in "Lerne Kombinieren" (a book that is on my to-buy list)
states that of 8,000 games played at the most significant tournaments
of the first half of the twentieth century 6,562 (82%) were decided by
opening books26 Aug 2008 02:32 GMT5
Do you like opening books? I prefer endgame and GM games collection. I
can't stand those books which are only endless variations. Obviously I
