I received some shocking information about Mr. Sam Sloan!01 Apr 2008 00:06 GMT24
I received some shocking information about Sam Sloan! This is by no

NYC records show that Sam Sloan was incarcerated from 1/6/2006 to
1/11/2006 in an ASYLUM FOR THE INSANE. Ironic, isn't it, that Sam
Wagon-lit31 Mar 2008 22:18 GMT1

Bob Hope vs. Bobby Fischer31 Mar 2008 19:25 GMT1
I was reading in an old Chess Life that Bob Hope had beaten Bobby
Fischer in chess on TV.  The context was kind of humorous - I'm

I keep reading that in 1934 Louis H. Watson was ranked the number 4

Why was he ranked number 4 ? Who were numbers 1, 2 and 3 ??

Trusting the Executive Director30 Mar 2008 13:56 GMT19
If you have an Executive Director who is utterly worthless, or who
does not tell the board what he is doing or who often lies about what
he has done, then you have a situation where the ED cannot be trusted
with such critical decisions as the hiring or firing of the Editor of

Sam Sloan Master Title in Chinese Chess28 Mar 2008 23:12 GMT36
Since Bill Brock keeps questioning whether I really finished second in
the World Championship of Chinese Chess for Non-Chinese in 1990 in

I am not saying this is a good idea as it stands,
but rather I am throwing it out there as a thought
experiment to see if someone comes up with a better
variation.

 Understand that question ?
Lets say two players play a 47 move game or 50 move or 36 move game ,
