I've been a member for more than 50 years. I'm the most important
person in the USCF. If you don't like me then form your own chess

Chessmaster Freezing29 Jan 2007 10:30 GMT1
Have had Chessmaster 10th edition for about a year now and really enjoy it,

I am currently 1700-1800 on FICS (standard games, not blitz or
lightning). I guess it would be good for me to play guys in the 2000+
range? I don't know what 1700-1800 on FICS is in FIDE terms.

Major exchange?27 Jan 2007 14:03 GMT9
Is there any term for the exchange of a queen for rook?  Since these

seems to increase greatly toward the end of the game, especially when
time is critical and the position tense.  Is it possible to manipulate
lag in some way so as to, effectively, gain extra time?  Or is this
