I'm not new to chess but I didn't really start playing until this past spring. Anyway I find that I play naturally in a defensive manner meaning that I try to anticipate what my opponent is doing/going to do and defend against whatever his moves are/will be. However I

I submit for your amusement one of my own recent games. It's probably not well played, and I'm sure you can poke holes in it if you tried. The point is, I don't ever recall seeing a final position where the losing side is so badly constricted. IMO 46...Rg8 makes it easy, ...
