stumbled in the transition to the end game, Beliavsky could use ...

Does anybody know how many Tournaments Kortchnoi has won in his
career? I've read that Karpov hold the record with 120 wins (with all
due respect to John Curdo's 700+ tournament victories). Surely,
Kortchnoi must be approaching this, given that he has been playing on

Question about two books29 Jun 2005 21:08 GMT4
does anybody know the book Chernev: "Logical Chess Move by Move" ? I'm
looking for a book, which explains the ideas of the moves. There
shouldn't be several variations with dozens of plies for every move, so
you can't see the main idea.
African-American Chess Hall of Fame29 Jun 2005 07:49 GMT5
I have noticed that not many of my fellow African-American brothers and
sisters are ever featured on the cover of Chess Life. I am not sure how many
blacks are members of Chess Life, however, I think that this issue needs to
be addressed.

Sam was all over him, had Brock bent over the rail and then applied the
checkmate like a veteran prison convict raping a young white boy on ...
