The Turing Test for Computers is to ask questions toi both a computer and a human. If the tester cannot tell from the answers which one is the human and which one is the computer then it can be said that the computer has intelligence and can think like a human.

| In The Chess Championship , the "seconds " people who help | 06 May 2005 17:55 GMT | 21 |
after an adjourned match , that bugs me , the players should not have anyone help them. Should just be one on one ,, I think that Fischer hated that too ?

| Gays Have Taken Over USCF | 06 May 2005 08:18 GMT | 5 |
Tim Redman is Gay. George DeFeis is Gay. Frank Niro is Gay. Steve Shutt is Gay. I am from Texas and I do not think George John looks like his kid. I have not even mentioned the lesbians. The USCF is an unsafe organization for children to play chess. I have

| Gelfand's opinion | 06 May 2005 07:17 GMT | 3 |
Have you read Gelfand's opinion about Fischer, Kasparov, Nakamura? Very interesting, but very predictable answer about Fischer and Kasparov. Maybe the same idea lies under mild underestimation of Nakamura. Any comment, why Gelfand don't like Fischer and likes Kasparov? I think I

| Kramnik vs FIDE | 05 May 2005 14:35 GMT | 7 |
The statement below is from http://www.chessbase.com/newsdetail.asp?newsid=2357 As expected, Kramnik won't play in Argentina. Perhaps somewhat unexpected is that he is willing to consider the FIDE tournament as a candidate

| Nakamura Attack | 05 May 2005 11:57 GMT | 25 |
For centuries it has been an opening that every chess player knows about and has played against, but has never had a name. Now, it has a name. Before, it was just the Patzer Opening. Everybody knew what that was, but that was not an official name.

| Question re: Keres-Botvinnik for Taylor Kingston | 04 May 2005 23:37 GMT | 29 |
Hello Mr. Kingston: It was with great interest I re-read your ChessCafe articles on the Keres-Botvinnik question, and I wonder if the Averbakh memoirs referred to by Sztein (sp?) were, in fact, ever published.
