The revelation has just come out that the USCF has signed a contract
to pay $60,000 to an architect in Crossville to design a new building
the USCF is supposed to be building there.

Larry Parr has posted elsewhere his vision of a Broadway Musical based

I think this idea has actual merit. Beatriz would be prefect as the
much maligned and misundestood Eva Peron type character as played by

My 60 Memorable Games17 Dec 2004 17:27 GMT17
Looking for a copy of My 60 Memorable Games. My son has asked for a copy of
this book for Christmas.  I understand it is out of print and I have been
searching on the Internet.  I'm unsure what edition, but maybe the 1969
edition?  I know he does not want the Bratsford(sp?) edition.

took office, she found out that the USCF had no money in the bank,

Nakamura Wins Match17 Dec 2004 03:39 GMT4
Nakamura smashed Karjakin in the 6-game match in Mexico, winning by a score
of 4.5-1.5.  Karjakin played the endgame of the fifth game poorly, perhaps

Is this forum about Chess?16 Dec 2004 23:06 GMT4
All I see here is a rantings of a lunatic.  If this is what Chess people are
about...I am taking up checkers!!!  Seriously, rantings such as this just be
redicule to anyone who professes a passion for Chess.  Let someone else
express an opinion.  I have always found that the ...
Sick of Sam Sloan...16 Dec 2004 22:33 GMT2

what's going on.  Normally, there are several interesting topics being
discussed.  However, for the past couple of months, it seems like the only
person posting is Sam Sloan (whoever he is).
