You went for the jugular - route 1! When my opponents double
fianchetto, that gets my goat; my hackles rise, my breathing becomes
rapid.
"Got enough time for that, have ya!??"
Also, when you attacked on the flank, he obviously thought, "Right,
I've got to fight back in the centre," so he played 10.d4. BONNNNG!
He was finished by then anyway, because you'd gone straight for him!

You play to win .....Nothing wrong with that....I did not play the game
out yet ....But i will..
Many years ago in a base ball game Ricky Henderson a very good base
stealer , his team was ahead by 3 or 4 runs in about the 7 or 8th inning
and he was on first base , the other team was just sitting back so he
stole second ...The other teams manager was mad at Ricky for doing that
?????? Now see if i was the manger of that team i would not be mad at
Ricky , i would be mad at my team for not playing hard.
Id want my team to play hard for 9 innings regardless of the score.....
In chess your opponent should play hard for every move , not sit back
and think you will give him a break.....

This sort of thing has happened before, not often, thankfully. It
puzzles me.
First, it wasn't like I had a "history" with this guy -- I'd never
played him before, at least under that handle. Second, I'd done
nothing to provoke him -- he'd responded to my open challenge and we'd
had no chat, just moves. Third, if you're not going to resign, why not
play it out? I mean, I've screwed up better positions than I had in
this game :-( and, in blitz, anything can happen.
Maybe he hoped I get impatient or insulted and kill the window,
whereupon he'd get the point. Dunno.

On Computer Analusis It game:
15. Ke1 dxe5 16. Qc2 Nxh2 17. Rg1 O-O-O 18. Nxe5 With a loss to white
of (-3.13.).
This game reminds me of a few games played yesterday at GetClub Chess.
A good player Jordan was beaten Twice by Beginner Level in just 15
Moves. Beginner won hime twice. While a week back He won in just 15
Moves.
This game too ends in 15 Moves.
Mike have you ever played at GetClub Chess? Can you win against the
Beginner Level?
Play Chess at: http://www.GetClub.com/Chess.html
Beginner Level plays moves is 10-15 seconds but stron enough to beat
most of the players. Only Help Bot & a few others can handle it. But
still they have to loose sometimes because of good moves played by
GetClub Chess.

I can kind of understand people waiting to be flagged in a four-minute
game. I still think they're idiots but it's at least conceivable that
somebody could lose their temper and sit there fuming for two and a
half minutes. I once had a guy sit and wait to be flagged in a
correspondence game. At one *week* per move. A whole week to think,
`No, I'm being a dick. The game is lost so I'll just resign.'

Was it Spanish, or Andean? I suspect you were playing P Innes.
SAT W-7 - 26 Jan 2008 19:07 GMT
You should play my IVAN chess computer it is rated between I700 to I800
ELO.....
I have only beat it one time on it's strongest level and lost 400 +
times over the years ..I usually just play the strongest level..
I have played Ivan vs fritz 9 and lost as black and white and the guy
said he thinks ivan is in that ELO range ..The box says I800 ELO but the
guy with Fritz 9 thinks it is I750 or so ....

Can you test the GetClub Beginner Level with your Fritz 9 and tell
what is the ELO of Beginner Level & Easy Level So that I get correct
data about the strength of GetClub Chess.
Play 5 Games with Beginner Level and tell me what is the Average
rating of GetClub Beginner Level
Play Chess at:: http://www.GetClub.com/Chess.html
Then Play 5 Games with Easy Level and please let me know its rating
too. Because many people are having doubts about the GetClub Chess
Ratings.
