It has been reported that Viswanathan Anand (India's top chess player) is
heading back to India to help with relief efforts. In one of the largest
natural disasters to have ever hit India thousands of relief workers are
heading for the stricken Asian country to help in relief efforts, in
addition to millions of dollars that have be raised.

I'm working on deadline.

The Hindu carries 7 chess stories for Dec. 30, 2004, but this is not among
them. Do you have a source?
