Photos needed for my Ebook about Crossville

Thread view:
Sam Sloan - 17 Dec 2004 13:56 GMT
I am writing a booklet about the move to Crossville. I need photos of
the principal characters involved.

I have old photos of Bill Goichberg, Beatriz Marinello, Tim Hanke, Don
Schultz and Steve Doyle.

I need a photo of Steve Shutt, Randy Bauer, Leroy Dubeck, Frank Niro,
Harry Sabine, Larry Parr, Kenneth Chadwell, Frank Brady, Judge
Horowitz and Al Horowitz.

If anybody can tell me where to find these photos or to improve on the
photos I already have it would be much appreciated.

The photo of Beatriz will, of course, be the cover photo.

I left out a few names. I also need a photo of Stan Booz and Michael
Matsler, the Attorney for the USCF.

Perhaps Linda the accountant (I do not know her last name) and a few
others could be included as well, plus the crazy guy in Boca Raton who
wants to sue me over this. Anybody who threatens a lawsuit definitely
gets their photo in the book.

This might be my last message to you.

So? They don't have internet cafes in prison?

The helicopter is gone now.

I guess I have gotten away again.

They were certainly able to see me right out their window at one
pointr.

I live on the 19th floor of a high rise building. I thought they were
going to land on the roof at first.

Make an aluminum hat so they can't read your thoughts.

And keep a low profile - no posting on the internet, etc.

Back cover, of course. Front cover will be Sam Sloan f.cking a
flamingo.

Hell no, it will be a photo of Sam slamming Kayo, his 38 year old Vietnamese
Whore wife. He bought her at the Viet Cong restaurant for $5. and snuck her
into the US in the back of his cab. The more guys she screws, the tighter
she gets, so Sam is overjoyed.

Jurgen, did you depart from discussing the issue, and enter some catalog of
projections upon your sense of the worth of another person, as the sole
basis of your own critique of a Continent-sized Federation in the richest
country in the world, making an unprecedented, and completely undiscussed
move?

You are an intelligent man in an intellectual sense, and someone who may be
engaged intellectually; that is not in dispute. Why do your messages reflect
this other level of /emotional/ intelligence, which dominates all aspects of
your current communictation... Are you not aware of it?

I don't know why you would write such a thing about 'f.cking flamingoes' -
is it only a jejeune means to try to shock people by writing the word
'f.ck'? Eh? Or perhaps you don't like any idea of f.cking at all? Would you
like to discuss f.cking as your personal primary topic?

Sam Sloan has posted an unflattering photograph of a subject caught in by a
flashlight, which does him no particular credit. In fact, it is my personal
opinion that he is a sh.t for doing so. I see no other reason to post the
picture other than to depopularise a person, based on taking an unfair
advantage of them, rather than attempting to represent a real quality or
their presence or of the moment.

Are we to engage at this same level?

Sometimes Sam is impertinent enough to penetrate the fog of nonsensical
communication which surrounds these affairs, and somethimes he is hopelessly
wrong. What is interesting about him is that he is capable of both things,
and almost all other posters capable of neither.

You will admit, intellectually, that someone attempting to pose as an
infallible guide to chessic affairs, would never commit himself to such a
course of inept social publications. Similarly, if the person were
over-conscious of his own behavior, a range of frankly extraordinary
behavior would not be revealed otherwise!

Therefore, he is such as he is, and to his credit, no more nor less than he
himself presents himself to be.

He is MAN. Utterly fallible, ever curious. Do you not have some Sam Sloan
within youself?

We must change the basis of this conversation when we consider the corporate
actions -where we would act together -  which are under consideration here,
to account for both [sometime submerged] personal motives, and also, to what
can be decently accounted for as any objective motive for action.

I have not liked your personal posts, ad hominem Sam Sloan, and while I
waited for your more mature consideration on the issues raised by all these
people who have posted, and thought you would make a different contribution
than you have done heretofore.

You see, this is a challenge. I am saying that you are not above a level
which you resent in others. I do agree that this level is insufficient, and
that few have attempted to truly go beyond it. Did I mistake you?

Cordially, Phil

If you are refering to my picture of Elizabeth Shaughnessy, it is a
good picture. Nothing wrong with it. That is what she looks like. At
the beginning of every round at the World Chess Olympiad there is a
period of usually five minutes when photographers can take pictures of
the players and that is when I took this picture.
