Rob the Robber to Run for USCF Executive Board
samsloan - 13 Dec 2008 00:28 GMT Rumors are circulating that Rob the Robber is planning a run for the USCF Executive Board on the Susan Polgar slate.
If this is true, I wish to personally welcome Rob the Robber to the fray.

samsloan - 15 Dec 2008 15:35 GMT We should try to think of some good campaign slogans, to help Rob the Robber on his way to election victory.
Here is my first feeble attempt. I am sure that readers of this group can think of something better.
"Rob the Robber, Who? Who? Who? "Who will he Rob Next, You? You? You?"
We should also remember to give Susan Polgar her 40th birthday party, as it is coming soon.

Sam Sloan choses to believe a certain alt-chess type in order to suggest 'Robber'. Some say the alt-chess type is the author of My 61 Games.
At least Sam Sloan is a believer - I convinced him once that Botvinnik was Cornish, and he also believed the April Fool's joke about SP, the chess castle, the nuns, the whole 9 yards - all it lacked was the perpetual motion and a modest canal.
> We should also remember to give Susan Polgar her 40th birthday party, > as it is coming soon. I bought her a book, but its too good to send unread, so maybe I'll delay awhile?
As for Rob Mitchell I can suggest a few slogans, and maybe Sam Sloan would agree with them? He is after all very brave with his opinions about others - can he be as brave himself?
"I am not afraid to take a high-school level background check."
"Anyone having to do with our children should be / required / to take a high school level background check."
That's just off the top, but we could even go for:
"Decency is important to the American People" or actually much better:
"Decent, Legal, Honest and Truthful."
I wonder if its time for those values - and I further wonder if there could possibly be any flak about a decent person running under that banner. Personally, I think chess folks could really go for it, especially after the past two years.
If for any reason Sam Sloan likes these ideas, then he might vote for Rob Mitchell himself, or state his objections to why these qualities seem reprehensible to such as his own intelligence.

Mike Murray - 15 Dec 2008 23:00 GMT >"Decency is important to the American People" or actually much better: > >"Decent, Legal, Honest and Truthful." If Rob plans to run on the Polgar Slate, there is one big is-sue:
How can we expect faithful Federation stewardship from one allied to an EB member currently making a mockery of her own stewardship obligation by trying to destroy the Federation financially?
We expect "honest and truthful" explanations from such a candidate. And they better be good.

Well, This is quite a bunch of pickles. Sloan lies whole cloth about me and then claims take a moniker the he,himself is the only user of is "everyone". I wonder where Mrs. Sloans information comes from? Samantha either has a "deep throat" source inside the uscf or is indeed just a "deep throater" herself? Merry Christmas Samantha.

Everybody calls you that nowadays. The name seems to fit so well.
So, in your coming campaign for election, you might as well take advantage of this: "Vote for Rob the Robber. Robs from the Rich and Gives to the Poor", or something like that.

As long as we are talking seriously, 3 things need to happen 'as everyone says'
1) Chessville is subcontacted instead of CL ]live and dead version] 2) CXR is subcontracted instead of USCFs in-house group 3) SPICE is subcontracted for event management.
Having achieved all this, all that's left for USCF to do is, um...

Some say the alt-chess type is the author of My 61 > Games. It is true that Rob got his moniker "The Robber" from a botched deal with Ed Trice, when they both accused the other one of trying to swindle each other out of $35,000 for promoting a $14 million dollar Gothic Chess Match that Bobby Fischer was supposedly going to play.
However, the name "The Robber" has stuck and has become widely accepted and will probably remain with him for the rest of his life because of other things he did, such as changing or overwriting the titles to threads in this group to prevent others from finding or reading them, for flooding my private email group fide-chess with unwanted videos when he had been suspended and later banned from my group, for accusing me and others of being a "coward" for refusing to play him when he is an 800 strength chess player and nobody wants to waste time playing with beginners, and so on.
Rob "The Robber" first got involved with chess in 2005 when the USCF moved to Tennessee and, since he lives in Nashville, he applied for the job of Scholastic Director.
He reached the inteview stag, but he was turned down for that position.
He then applied for the job of Executive Director.
This time, he did not reach the interview stage. Since his background is that he is an insurance salesman, he seemed to have no qualficatins for the job.
It was then that he went on a rampage, bombarding all the chess discussion groups with a lot of nonsense, so he became known as "Rob the Robber".
If will be really funny if he runs for USCF Executive Board, and even funnier if he wins.

There is no such person as Samantha Sloan, but you already knew that.
That is one of the kinds of things you do that preserve your nickname of "Rob the Robber". Others include overwriting and thereby deleting title threads of threads others started that you do not happen to like and sending unwanted videos into my private email group after you have been banned.
But the original reason that you started being called "Rob the Robber" is because of your attempt to swindle that fledgling entrepreneur Ed Trice out of $35,000 by claiming that you had made a deal with Bobby Fischer to play in a chess match.

On the Internet a letter is posted on your stationary and your letterhead with your office address on it which states that you are in contact with Bobby Fischer who has agreed to play a chess match that you will videotape. The letter demands payment of $35,000 in advance for arranging this chess match and videotaping.
Here is an exact quote from your letter:
http://www.gothicchess.com/images/blog/CMM_rev_3.jpg
7. CMM will be paid a one-time $35,000 stipend as an initial infusion of capital to be used for the general operational budget of the current project.
8. CMM, in good faith, will be responsible for obtaining initial player contracts and maintaining player participation but will not be held liable if the participants, for whatever reason, failed to agree of perform. The players who have initially agreed to participate are Mr. Robert James Fischer and Mr. Anatoly Karpov. In case of default by the above named participant, alternate players will be sought by CMM and agreed upon by GCF.
What is your excuse or explanation for this?

Brian Lafferty correctly points out that Rob the Robber has yet to specifically deny that he is running for the board.
Instead, Rob the Robber keeps asking, " Who told you I was running?"
Personally, I think that he would make a fine addition to the Susan Polgar slate.
"Vote for Rob the Robber. He and Sue will do you too!"

Notice how he fails to answer even the simplest question?
We have yet to hear how he justifies having lewd and sexual postings on his website, touting how he enjoys having sex with teenagers under the age of 16 with his public claim to want to "do something to promote chess to children".

This is a good example of why I should have sued you for the same things that I sued Bill Brock for.
