Will Polgar Make it Through the Delegates' Meeting?

The delegate's meeting and the workshops that precede the delegates'
meeting will start on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 in Cherry Hill, New
Jersey.

These are likely to be raucous meetings. Although it has been
demonstrated by the election results that Polgar has the support of
the general membership, she may not have such strong support from the
delegates.

Polgar is known to be intolerant of even the slightest, mildest
criticism. It is difficult to imagine her sitting through an entire
delegates' meeting and fielding questions from the members.

I think it is likely that she will not even show up for the delegates'
meeting and that her first meeting will be the meeting of the new
board.
Well, one thing is for sure. Polgar will be able to
filter issues through her backstop, Paul Truong. He will help deflect
criticism and tough issues from Susan in these meetings, recalling
Susan's propensity to censor any dissenting opinions on her website,
and perhaps their one-two punch will prevail. 8)
Have you ever been to a delegates' meeting?

Obviously, not. These are the Wild West, where chess players duel to
be the Fastest Gun in the West, with Mike Nolan as the referee.

No way to filter anything. It is known that she cannot stand even the
slightest criticism and reacts badly. Just look at her behavior on
this forum.

That is why I believe that she might miss the delegates' meeting
altogether and just come to the first meeting of the board, or she
might even not show altogether.
