Indeed. This would mean 12 rounds.
Actually 6 games and 18 rounds would
be still easily feasible and more like
a true championship as it should be.

I would like to see the championship
time limit which would allow both
and only both players to go slow when
they both feel that the position deserves
a lot of thinking. Thus a player would lose
on time only when two conditions hold
at the same time:
1. 40 moves took more than 150 minutes
or 60 moves took more than 225 minute, etc.
2. being behind the opponent by more
than 90 minutes.
The games could be long but players would
get a whole day rest after each round.
And during the game they would have
refreshments and comfort, perhaps a room
with a sofa & exercise machines.

Granted that he would be in good health.
However, within a couple of years Kramnik
may slow down while young Carlsen will
most likely get still better, possibly
so much so that he will be the next great
champion. Some new youngsters will show up
though. Then it'll be exciting :-)

He certainly has the BIG OCCASION temperament.

I think it would be a very interesting match. If it comes down to
preparation, I think it is anyones match, and even if it didn't, there
base of knowledge and abilities are so high.
I think it is any given Sunday.
I think that all of them could have decisive games in their favor, and I
think it would only be fair to have this be a double/double round robin.
So that each could play 4 games against each other.
And if results could be kept secret from the players, that would be perfect.
